Ultra-Red is an audio activist group producing radio broadcasts, street actions, performances, recordings, installations and public actions, occupying the borders between art and political organizing. FS59: An Otobiography was first presented in 1999 in the performance "Tranual Labor" for the "Crossing Genre/Crossing Gender" exhibition in Austria. It features political performance art about transgendered people, specifically about transsexual worker demands for transitioning on the job. (We think that's what it features, anwyay -- their liner notes and publicity materials are a little impenetrable.)
