Obscure comics fan-parody from 1982!
Jim Engel and collaborator Chuck Fiala created a satirical fumetti-style commentary in the fanzine The Comic Reader (founded by a teen-aged Paul Levitz).
In Fandom Confidential Engel and Fiala play themselves as TV news commentators through a 'photo-funnies'-format, exchanging trenchant comments on mainstream comics and their creators.
Made for the initiated but of interest for anyone who wants a glimpse of weird early '80s comics fan culture!
