"From a visual idea by Marcello Piccardo: what a dog can do, what a cat can do…” is how an unpublished idea from the 60’s was described. The book came about by the author’s observation of his favorite animals; an analytical, wry yet affectionate observation. The book aims to stimulate by providing blank pages where the reader him/herself can observe and draw the animals, write about them or add photographs of them. The book, with double cover so that it can also be read upside down, can be “used” and “scribbled in”; Piccardo’s elegant drawings can be mixed up with notes about one’s favorite animals in an activity to be carried out by children and adults, ideally, together.
