Christopher Columbus began our current age of globalization in 1492. Today, multinational corporations have become modern-day conquistadors. Using the I.M.F., the World Bank, the W.T.O., N.A.F.T.A., and the F.T.A.A., transnational corporations and their global assembly lines have become more powerful than many countries -- and have poisoned the environment and destroyed labor laws in the process. SAW (Street Art Workers) wants to look at how corporate globalization has affected our world, how it has impacted the land, and how people are fighting back. This collection of 25 posters represents artists from 10 different countries and over 20 different cities. Along with a strong critique of imperialism, the posters show how communities throughout the world are resisting corporate power for a more just and sustainable world. Tabloid sized.
