A metal tin box set of full-color greeting cards featuring vintage Santa Claus designs.
This collection of vintage Santa images includes 20 cards —two each of 10 different designs. The set contains 20 full color cards and 21 red envelopes, packaged inside a full color, reusable, metal tin box showcasing a striking image of Santa.
During the Golden Era of Christmas Cards (1898-1918), those featuring Santa were by far the most popular. The rare examples contained herein utilized a resplendent, German printing technique known as chromolithography. Each season, both young and old, “oohed” and “ahhed” over the wintry holiday’s new and colorful offerings.
