Decend into Madness... Celebrate the release of The Book Of The Un

Come celebrate the release of the Book Of The Un, the sequel to Chicken John’s Book of the Is: Fail to Win. Essays in Engineered Disperfection! This Saturday, October 1.

Book of the Un

The Book of the Un is a book about control. It deconstructs the systems that foster the chaos that creates the ecology that makes the kind of art that changes the world. What works and what doesn’t. It’s a fascinating topic, and so Chicken and friends are roping off Minna Street and throwing a parade in three acts with all the fabulous costumes from the Fallen Cosmos and tons of interactive art and shenanigans.

If you’d like to attend this party, you can buy tickets (which includes a copy of the book) here:

Imagine all of the art and the performances overflowing from 111 Minna Gallery onto the street… Interact with strange characters from the Fallen Cosmos… See what other psycho-shitshow-curiosities we have in store!

Here is a video that KQED produced when Chicken did the street party five years ago for the release of The Book of the Is:

… What will he do this time?!

Saturday, October 1, at 111 Minna Gallery, San Francisco, CA 21+
